ARGOS and the observation of the process of creation of the Teatro O Bando
In this round table, the ARGOS researchers and the director of the first ARGOS experiment, João Brites, director of Teatro O Bando (Portugal), discuss the proceedings and outcome of the integrated observation week (22-27 April 2019). The main focus lies on the differences in perspective within the community of observers (doctoral students, artists, researchers in the field of theatrical genetics, cultural mediators and other invited observers) and the way in which the presence of this community of observers influenced the work of the artistic team. In short, the different interventions tried to demonstrate how this project modifies the memory of the creative process.
